Affirmed! TSC announces today which teachers and job groups will be among the first 30,000 teachers to benefit from the CBA wage raise as from this date
Over 30000 Teachers Service Commission employees will be pleased to learn that they will be considered first for a salary increase.
B5, which is primarily for primary school teachers, has been disadvantaged for many years, according to TSC boss Dr. Nancy Macharia.
When it comes to pay increases, the majority of instructors in this profession have been disregarded. Their time has come to be remembered, and Macharia promises that their payslips will read differently starting next month.
Teachers in job group D3 have also been overlooked in terms of compensation increases for a long time. These are primarily school directors of studies who are slated for advancement.
The Teachers Service Commission has promised them advancement and raises in pay for years, but nothing has happened.
Macharia has expressed apologies for this and stated that TSC will prioritize them in wage increases. They were told not to be concerned.
Macharia goes on to state that the commission will offer all teachers a raise, but that these two categories would be given priority.
She insists that the commission has already received funding for the compensation increase for teachers and that they should relax and wait.
