Breaking news, Multimedia University closed indefinitely

Earlier today, students of Multimedia University received a memorandum asking them to vacate the school premises. This is after a three-day lecturer’s strike that saw students also protesting and trying to interfere with the motorist along Magadi Road.

However, the students were asked to vacate the university campus after 6 pm today

After not listening to the complaint, the MMU employees went on strike on Monday. The strike not only affected the studies but also affected the students appearing for the semester exams.

As a result, this is not the first time that the strike by students and employees has affected a busy motorist on Magadi Road. A few years ago, students went on strike after being hit by a speeding matatu

As the students strike together with the employees, the fare of the city is usually increased and the matatu industry takes advantage of this.

However, the students who appeared for their exams are unsure about when they will continue with their exams. However, they managed to take only one exam on Monday earlier this week.

Some students were just starting their semester. The strike affected those who were in their fourth year and fifth year from the faculty on engineering, as well as reporting for the first time at the university

Everything was kept stable to avoid damage to properties and destruction of transportation.

The students are also not sure whether some online classes will still run or not. As always, memos on when the semester and exams will begin will be sent to the students later through various agreed channels. The lecturers and staff went on strike due to the need to increase the allowances.
