The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) is offering a second chance to students who sat for their Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) examination between 2000 and 2021.

“Did you sit the KCSE exam between 2000 and 2021 and havenā€™t been placed by KUCCPS to undertake a TVET course? Our portal is now open for applications. Apply for a chance to pursue your career of choice under government sponsorship,” the placement service stated.

 

“The ongoing TVET course application is open to anyone who sat KCSE last year (2021) up to 2000, provided one has never been selected to join a college by KUCCPS.”

 

 

KCSE candidates can now apply for diplomas, certificates and artisan courses through the KUCCPS portal.

 

Those seeking to apply for artisan certificate courses should possess a minimum KCSE Grade of E, craft certificate courses should have a mean grade of D (plain) and above. On the other hand, those seeking to apply for diploma courses should have a mean grade of C- (minus) and above.

 

All applications can be done online through the student’s portal accessible through the KUCCPS website www. kuccps. ac.ke

Log in using your credentials i.e. KCSE index number, KCSE year and password.

 

 

(For your initial password, use your birth certificate number or KCSE index number)

 

Once you’ve logged in, select four courses that you would like to pursue and the government institution.

 

List them in order of priority, the first being the most preferable and the fourth being the least.

 

Once done click submit.
