Education:Reporting dates, damage fees and more guidelines for BuruBuru Girls High school released

Buruburu Girls High School was closed after students unrest in the school. This is after students burned down dormitory and several others injured in that incidence. The school administration resolved to close the school inorder to find solution and repair the dormitory.


Yesterday on 5th November 2021 the school has has released internal memo on the date the students are expected back in school and the amount of money the parents are expected to pay for damages:

Internal Memo to parents

Form three and Four Monday 8th at 9.00am and form two and form one 9th at 9.00am. They must pay full fees, ksh1500 for damages incurred and they must be accompanied by parents or guardians.


Also the school administration has burned body sprays, spirits, sanitizer, any forms of jewellery and bread are now strictly prohibited in the school.


This comes after CS professor George Magoha announced that parents will pay for damages caused by children and not the government.
