It was started in the year 1934. The rationale behind the start of the school was to ensure that young boys in the country have a right to access education.

Due to the good connection that existed bewtween the school and the great Senior Musa Nyandusi, Musa decided to donate a large piece of land of which  the school currently sit on. Musa also also helped the school much in infrastructure development due to the wealth he possessed.

The  was promoted to a National status in the year 2012 due to tremendous results in National exams KCSE over years.Kisii school is among the top performing schools in Nyanza region.

Form one Selection Criteria

The school only selects and admits students who have highest marks in KCPE examination through the process carried out by tje ministry of Education under the directive of the Government.

– School motto is, strive for excellence

– School mission is, To offer homely support and holistic education founded on strong principles of discipline, character formation and leadership development.

– School vision is, to be a global center of excellence for youth development, effectively providing leadership and academic skills geared towards promoting justice and care for the society founded by highest moral values.

The population of the school is at 2000 students. The population has really increased over number of years due to 100 percent transition of pupils from primary to secondary.

The current principal of the school is Mr Maurice Ogutu helped by his deputy Mr Edwin Nyaboga.

It has a total of 102 teaching staff members who are helping him out in school activities. The unity and  hard work of the teachers has led to constant performance of the school in KCSE examinations.
