Police have arrested a teacher who allegedly sodomized 15 Pupils at a local primary school.It is alleged that the teacher has been committing the atrocity in the office of the deputy headteacher, with parents now threatening to transfer their students if the suspect is not transferred from the school.

Early this morning (Saturday, March 12), parents were up in arms after learning of the uncouth behavior of one of the teachers in school, a man they trusted with their children.
It is alleged that the Swahili and science teacher has been preying on the young boys in the school threatening to kill them if they reported his actions.In tears, the boys narrated the sexual ordeal they underwent in the hands of their teacher.
14-year-old John (not his real name) who is in grade seven gives harrowing accounts of how he fell in his clutches.He says the teacher accosted them early in the morning in the deputy headteacher’s office or on weekends.
Salome (not her real name) is a mother to one of the victims. She says that she’s mentally disturbed by the incidents.
She has vowed never to take her child back to the same school after the atrocities he went through. Parents fear more victims could be scared to come out due to his threats. However, they have accused the school administration of trying to cover up the matter since they had reported some cases last term but no action was taken.
They want police and the Teachers Service Commission (TSC) to expedite investigations and interdict the teacher saying transfer will escalate the behavior to other schools. Our efforts to get a comment from education and police officers were futile since they did not answer calls nor were they in office at the time we sought their comment. The matter has since been reported at Butere Police Station.
The Teachers Service Commission shall thereafter take this matter up and discipline this teacher who is now a beast to our pupils
