Prof. Kiama orders that all students in the following categories be deregistered from the University’s database
Some students have been shocked and disappointed by the University of Nairobi’s announcement that it will not recognize dormant students who attempt to profit from the institution’s name.
The university’s database will be cleaned, according to Vice-Chancellor Stephen Kiama, in order to keep only current students who are serious about their studies.
Prof. Kiama mentioned during the institution’s prize-giving event that many students register for courses in the university’s name and take more than ten years to complete.
“We place a premium on quality.” “We value our students and the university’s reputation,” he said.
