The cause of his death has not yet been revealed to the public.
Until his death, Mwalimu Peter was set to contest for the Matayos parliamentary seat.
He was to retire this month after being in the noble teaching profession for 35 years and serving as a principal for 30 years.
He became the chief principal at Kisumu Boys’ after being delocalized from St Joseph’s High school in Kitale. His dedication made him get voted as principal of the year in 2015 when he was at St Joseph’s Kitale.
He has been mourned online as a disciplined, hard working, obedient and honest person who had great work ethics.
He related well with all the teachers and students that he interacted with during his career as a teacher.
