*sigh of relief to all P1 teachers as TSC changes the salary grading system, Check out the new grading system*

This was done after signing the collective bargaining agreement (CBA) between them and the teacher’s union.It is as follows:

 

1.primary teacher II(T-scale5) fall under grade B5.


 

 

 

2.primary teacher I(T-scale6)must serve atleast 3years and joining becomes automatic and will fall under grade C1.

 

 

 

Senior teacher II must serve as primary teacher I for atleast 3years since the grade is competitive thus subjected to availability of vacancies and will fall under grade C2

Senior teacher I will be appointed after serving as senior teacher II for atleast 3years and will fall under grade C3.

 

 

 

The deputy headteacher II will be appointed after serving as a senior teacher I for atleast 3years and will fall under grade C4.

 

 

 

The deputy headteacher I will only be appointed after serving for atleast 3years under deputy headteacher II.

They should have acquired enough knowledge on development and implementation of curriculum and education policies, and will fall under grade C5.

 

 

 

The Headteacher will only be appointed after serving as a deputy headteacher I for atleast 3years and will fall under grade C5.

 

 

 

Senior headteacher will be a lead educator and also chief accounting officer served as a headteacher for 3years and will fall under grade D1.
