The English premier league 2021/2022 season is expected to kick off on Saturday 13th August 2021. The transfer widow opened on Wednesday, June 9th and many epl teams moreso the big 6 have strengthened their squad.

The supercomputer therefore looked at the club form at the end of 2020/2021 season, it also looked at the top signings and predicted that the for 2021/2022 season will end with top 5 as follows:

1. Manchester city

2. Chelsea

3.Liverpool

4. Manchester United

5. Arsenal………..more

Manchester city will win the English premier league for a 2nd consecutive time in 2021/2022 season.

The Citizens finished the 2020/2021 season at their top form and if they start the 2021/2022 season at the same strength, then there is no club that will take the trophy from their disposal.

The club has not made any major signing despite the departure of top names; Sergio Kun Aguero and Erick Gercia who joined Fc Barcelona on a free transfer.

However, rumours has it that manager pep Gurdiola is in search for a top striker to replace Sergio Kun Aguero.

They are therefore targeting the combination of Totenham’s Harry Kane and Aston Villa’s captain Jack Grealish or Barcelona’s highly rated striker Antonio Grezieman.

If their plans go well, then Manchester city will be the best team in Europe who will compete for a quadruple.

On the other hand Chelsea football club will play a competitive game but won’t make it  for a major silverware. The club has also not made any major signing.

Their form last season which saw them lift the Prestigious trophy UEFA champions league. This season  will  qualify for a top four position comfortably.

Else where, Liverpool will secure top 4 position comfortably. It has seen the return of their injured main man virgil van dijk who missed the whole of 2020/2021 season nursing an injury.

Manchester United will compete for a top four with Arsenal. Manchester have signed Jardon Sancho but he may flop considering his performance at Euro 2020 in which he missed a penalty which saw them eliminated at the finals by immediate rivals Italy.

Arsenal will improve to top 5 despite not being involved in any European competition, they haven’t made any major signing and their form in 2020/2021 season continues to be a major worry.
