The Teachers Service Commission is set to begin the recruitment exercise for a total of 1,995 interns for both primary and secondary school level
Out of the number, 1038 will be posted in various primary schools while 957 will proceed to offer services in secondary schools within the republic.
Kakamega county is one of the first counties to release the recruitment schedule which is set to begin on the 8th Day of October. The activity will begin with the secondary school intern recruitment then later followed by their counterparts at primary level.
Essentially, that will be the order throughout the country as TSC does it’s recruitment process in unison.
The primary school teachers will earn a monthly stipend of Ksh.15,000 while those at secondary school level will earn ksh.20,000.
This figure is subject to statutory deductions such as the National Hospital Insurance Fund & National Social Security Fund.
