According to the Teachers Service Commission CEO, the least paid primary school teacher will be earning sh. 27000.

The change cuts across all teachers but teachers in primary section have been awarded a salary increament of sh. 6000.

The commission says that it favoured primary school teachers because they are the worst hit group who receive little salary.

The change is immediate and teachers will be smiling all the way to the bank at the end of next month with an addition on their salary.

The move by TSC has been appreciated by all employed primary school teachers who say that life had become unbearable with the little pay.
