Since it’s inception the commission has made many changes in teaching profession in the country. Dr Nancy Macharia is the CEO of the Commission.
Teachers Services Commission has delivered bad news to Kenyans seeking to join teaching profession in the country. According to today’s Standard newspapers, the commission is adamant that it won’t lower entry grade for teacher training.
TSC said teachers who did not attain a mean grade C+ will not be allowed to teach in any secondary school in the country.
Secondary school teacher will only be allowed to teach subjects fir which they scored C+ and above. Speaking during heads conference in Mombasa, TSC deputy director of staffing said even though the qualifications requirements are unpopular with teachers they will implement them.
