TSC CEO Nancy Macharia releases a crucial message to all P1 teachers that catches them unaware

Primary school teachers who advanced their studies and acquired degrees have all the reasons to smile following the move by the Teachers Service Commission to deploy them to teach in secondary schools.



TSC boss Dr. Nancy Macharia says that the teachers have been issued with deployment letters to teach in secondary schools in Kenya today.



Dr. Nancy Macharia has confirmed today that the qualified teachers have been issued with the letters and expected to report any time soon to their new stations.


Macharia further says that teachers who have been deployed are qualified and meet all the requirements for teaching in secondary schools.


She says that the teachers have acquired Bachelor of Education degrees and are therefore suit to teach in secondary school.Here are the lists of the successful teachers.



The move by the Teachers Service Commission to deploy primary school teachers to secondary schools will be of great help because it will help to curb the teachers shortage which has been experienced for many years.



Indeed this is a good move  by TSC as this will really help motivates all P1 teachers to advance their studies to help them get promotions. Through this the teachers will feel remembered and equal as their secondary counterparts.

    It’s not fare because we have many high school teachers who are still unemployed and they have all the required qualifications also so why promote p1 who are already in the pay roll and degree holders are jobless
