TSC, the approved subject combinations for Arts and science 2020/2021

If you are a teacher in Kenya and you need  highest  chances of being employed permanently by TSC or by a BOARD of secondary schools ,then definitely you need to choose a marketable subject combination that you will specialize in  as you prepare to undertake the teaching course.

A student who chooses to undertake a Bachelor of education science course in any public or private university in Kenya MUST have meet the following minimum requirements outlined below. The  top most popular universities that offer.

 

 

Bachelors of education science courses include University of Nairobi, Kenyatta University, Moi university, Maseno university etc.

  • MUST have a mean grade of C(plus) in KCSE a minimum grade of C(plus) in Mathematics and a C(plus) in either Physics or Chemistry or Geography or Biology.

 

  • He or She may also have a B(minus) in biological sciences or physical sciences.

    I did my Kcse in 2008 and got a BMinus and a grade of DPlain in Maths .I did a P1 course and got employed by Tsc later I did a Diploma in Early Child hood Education Can I pursue Bachelor of Education Arts with that DPlain in Maths and wi Tsc recognize it

    I sat my secondary education in Uganda o level and a level. I did commerce and economics respectively. Is it ok to take Geography/business studies as teaching combination in University. Geography is in my certificate but business studies no. It economics and commerce. Please advise.

    i did my kcse in the year 2021 and attained all minimum grades to do bachelor of education arts i would like to know if a combination of computer studies and geography studies is recommended by tsc
